Tasting Notes"An attractive, exotic wine, the 1990 Haut-Marbuzet bursts with aromas of sweet berries, espresso roast, cigar smoke, Indian spices, black truffles and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, layered and textural, with a velvety attack that segues into a layered core of sweet fruit framed by melting tannins, it concludes with a long, sapid finish. It's a brilliant effort for this Saint-Estèphe overachiever. Drink Date 2000 - 2030. 93 points" William Kelley, RobertParker.com, August 2022
